  • Real Estate Law / Acquisition

    You can buy any type of property in the Dominican Republic without any restrictions. The following additional costs apply: property transfer tax is usually 3%, the notary fee is 1%. An annual property tax called "IPI" is only payable from 2021 (RD $ 8,138,353.26). I would be happy to calculate this for you based on your purchase price!   • residence permit

    Contact the Dominican Consulate General in your respective hometown to apply for a visa, which is required for further processing of the residence permit/residencia in the Dominican Republic. With a lawyer of your choice, you will continue the process of further processing in the country.
